The student named above has applied to participate in the 2012 class of the Martha Summer Institute for Future Business Leaders, which is a three-week residential, academic experience being offered by the Walker College of Business at Appalachian State University. Participants will live on campus, participate in classes, workshops and activities in the Walker College, attend cultural events and travel to Washington, DC and New York City.

Participation is limited to 20-24 students who will be selected on the basis of interest in business, academic achievement, involvement and leadership, application and interview. Your appraisal of the student will help us in the selection of qualified applicants for this program.
