The 2016 program included some great and different opportunities for the participants. We partnered with Dixon, Hughes, Goodman's Asheville office and took a day trip to the recently opened Collider, to participate in their quarterly client meeting discussing sustainable business practices. Our trip took a bit of a detour this year. While we have historically gone to Washington, DC and New York City, we were given the opportunity to have a corporate visit at The Hershey Company in Hershey, PA....

Some of you may be wondering about Ms. Guy. Ms. Guy celebrated her 94th birthday this year. We were thrilled that she was able to join us this past summer for the Chancellor's luncheon. Before the luncheon itself, Ms. Guy took time to meet the 2016 participants and was very impressed as each and every one of them stood in line to personally meet her and shake her hand, thanking her for making this opportunity available to them.
